High Level Electromagnetic Waves
This is a special EMC chamber called a “mode stirred chamber”, which allows the room to achieve very high field strengths: up to 300V/m. The room is a reverberant room vs. the other EMC chambers where the walls are designed to absorb radio frequency energy rather than reflect it. This is the ideal room for testing products before going into compliance testing with very high radiated immunity requirements.
